Chief Information Officer (Asia Pacific)

Our client is one of the leading globally integrated logistics service providers. Our client stands apart with their dense network of locations in the world's most important economic regions, in air and ocean transport, in European land transport, in contract logistics as well as in supply chain management. Currenty they are searching for a Chief Information Officer, which is a Regional role working out of Singapore in-charge of the Asia Pacific Region.

This role shall also be responsible to provide leadership and guidance to the Heads of IT in the Asia Pacific countries.

Key Outcomes

• Contribution to the development of the Global IT Strategy and Architecture
• Implementation of Global IT Strategy and Architecture for the Asia Pacific region
• Efficient IT infrastructure and solutions in Asia Pacific to support the Company business
• Superior IT service, systems and solutions to both internal and external customers
• Efficient operations of the Shared Service Centre to support the Asia Pacific business
• Practical and implementable Disaster Recovery and Business Contingency procedures to ensure minimal disruption to services

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent in IT, or any related fields
• 10 years+ of experience in a related capacity in a service industry
• Several years of personnel management experience in an intercultural environment
• Proficiency in both English (written and spoken); working knowledge of Mandarin will be advantageous
