Key Account Manager

The key role of this position links between the consumer and the company. He/She will have set targets to increase commitments, maintain relationship and introduce new products and opportunities to all of the customers. He/She will work closely with marketing and the direct sales teams and help where necessary in assisting sales situations and lead sharing opportunities. It is envisaged that the Key Account Managers will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve agreed targets.
  • Ensure the sales-trade funds allocated within agreed spend limits.
  • Manage all information about the customer, their sales performance, competitor intelligence and other related issues.
  • Develop customer business plans and conducts regular business review.
  • Maintain professional relationships at several levels in the customer accounts. It requires understanding on credit terms, payment and collection from distributor side, order process and stocks availability in the accounts.
  • Be compliance to key account management activities regulated by company business practice standards.
  • Interact effectively with other departments including the account management and technical team when handing over campaigns ensuring you fully and correctly brief in all aspects of the sale

Qualifications

  • Male/Female, maximum 32 years old
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in any disciplines.
  • 5 years of experience of working in a multi national environment especially at sales or marketing functions
  • Having experience in key account management FMCG
  • A proven record of strategic thinking; excellent written and verbal communication skills; high energy, ability to self motivate and motivate others, and a passion for communicating the benefits of great products to customers.
  • Candidates must have proven leadership experience and have demonstrated abilities in sales, negotiations, and partner relationship management.
  • Customer service oriented: understand and anticipate the needs of the customer
